Man Assaults Girls in Minami Ashigara Shi

"A 28-year-old man was arrested for assault on Monday, accused of punching a 13-year-old girl in the face and kicking a 9-year-old girl in her face as they were walking home from school.

Police said the second-year junior high school student was attacked by the man just after 3 p.m. on a street in Minamiashigara City, leaving her with a broken nose. The man then attacked the fourth-grade elementary school student about 10 minutes later in the same area, inflicting slight injuries to her right eye, police said."
